Entitled ‘Beauty is a Legacy’, the campaign simultaneously launches the new Marionnaud brand philosophy and its signature cosmetics collection ‘1984’ – a timeless expression of elegance inspired by the brand’s Parisian heritage.

Created and produced by WHAM, the campaign centres on concepts of legacy and inter-generational beauty, with the video capturing one woman’s story as she talks back in time to her younger self. By harnessing the power of gen AI we were able to create younger and older versions of our protagonist to sit alongside her real, present day self.

Using a collision of AI alongside traditional image capture, production, post production techniques to fuse old with new…the expected with the unexpected. Centred around human craft, the campaign uses a multi layered aesthetic to tell a multi layered story; of our relationship and connection to ourselves. A story of heritage, human touch, evolution and timelessness. Capturing everything that makes Marionnaud special.
